[English] 日本語は独特の美しい言語だが、習うのは極端に難しいと嘆いている外国人を見てきました。でも心配しないで！日本人でさえ、勉強するのが大変ですし、新聞などは特に高校を卒業するまで読めないのが現状です。漢字を勉強するプロセスは日本人にとっても長いものなのです。 日本語は外国語を借りることが多いのでも有名です。これらは外来語と呼ばれ、オランダ語、ドイツ語、ポルトガル語からは医学関係の、フランス語、イタリア語からは音楽、食べ物関係の単語を借りています。 いくつかの例を挙げましょう。 オランダ語　Orgel, Schop, Letter, Ransel ドイツ語 Energisch,Arbeit,Ideologie,Neurose,Gips,Demagogie,Gelande ポルトガル語　Pao, Tabaco, Charamela, フランス語 Fiancé, Enquete, Piment, Vacances, Concoures, Escargot, Pochette イタリア語 Casino, Maestro 英語は一番多く借りており、特にＩＴ関係からです。問題は英語と日本語には全く類似性がないため、借りたときのままの単語は日本人にとって発音できないということです。ＬとＲ、ＢとＷなどはその典型といえましょう。 クリップでみてもらえばわかりますが日本人が日本語発音で英語を話すと、ネイティブにわかってもらえないという悲劇が起こるのです。 日本人はクリエイティブなので、英語でいくつか単語を作り始めました。サラリーマンなどはその一例です。これはビジネスマンのことを指すのですが、もしサラリーマンなどと英語圏で言えば、絶対にわかってもらえないでしょう。これらの単語は和製英語と呼ばれます。この和製英語は日本人が英語をちゃんとしゃべれない大きな障害となっているのも事実です。和製英語は多いのでそれがちゃんとした英語なのかそうでないのかがわからくなってくるからです。 最近は特にグローバリゼーションも手伝って、また外来語がものすごく増えたみたいですね。外来語が多くなりすぎて、日本語が消えてゆく、、、ような事態にだけはなってほしくないですからね。
