Maith thú!!
Excellent summary of our lovely language :)
Irish is having a whole new revival thanks to the Internet! Kevin Scannell, a friend of mine (actually American, but with amazing Irish) has helped translate a heap of websites to Irish, Google is in Irish, Wikipedia, Google Translate can now help those learning to read full Irish texts (and get the gist, since it has a long way to go), and even SOFTWARE has Irish interfaces! I'm currently on Ubuntu and in two clicks I can change the entire operating system, as well as subprograms like Open Office and firefox as Gaeilge :) (I describe how I do that here). Irish has made its stand in the 21st century! I'll be writing about Irish online on my blog at some stage. Otherwise you can see my videoblog that is entirely as Gaeilge. I'm not fluent, but my level has been greatly revived in recent years.
Thanks for the cool article!
