The competition, at its seventh edition, presents you with the current year’s top 100 blogs on living abroad. You can check out the results of the previous editions: IX14, IX13, IX12, IX11, IX10, and IX09. The official hashtag of the competition is #ix15.
Who is eligible?
Bloggers who write / shoot videos / podcast about their international experience. Many of them are high-school and university students on exchange, au-pairs or au-pair families, around-the-world travellers, expats or young enthusiasts doing a voluntary year of social service abroad. The common bond is that all of them are living, exploring, learning, and experiencing a foreign country and blogging about it!
Nominations: January 19th to February 1st, 11:55 p.m. CET (German time).
Voting: February 5th to February 16th, 11:55 p.m. CET (German time).
Results will be published on February 18th!
Users can nominate their favourite blogs by leaving a comment on the article we will post next Monday, January 19th here on Lexiophiles or by sending an email to benedetta [at] bab.la. All nominated blogs who are eligible will be allowed to the voting phase.
How does the ranking work?
We rank blogs solely according to user votes. Rest assured that our voting system saves each vote. We have several security measures in place to assure no vote fraud. This can result in vote commit changes at the end of the voting phase as we check all votes.
Who can vote?
Anyone is allowed to vote once for their favourite blog.
Can I promote my blog?
Yes, you can promote your blog amongst your friends, Twitter profile, Facebook or in any other way.
What can I win?
