Would you choose Brazil for an exchange program?

Brazil is attracting more people´s attention nowadays not only because of samba, soccer and Carnival but mainly because of FIFA World Cup in 2014 and the Olympics in 2016. Talking about that, why don´t you think about moving from your comfort zone and applying for an internship in Brazil?

First of all, I could mention many places and cities to visit in Brazil but I would like to recommend 3 that you should not miss!

1. Corcovado, Rio de Janeiro
The Corcovado in Rio is a fantastic landmark. The mountain rises high above the Rio de Janeiro bay with an open-armed Christ at its peak. It´s considered one of the tallest and most impressive monuments. The statue is one of the biggest statues of Jesus in the world. This is definitely a must see place but you should choose a clear day to enjoy the wonderful view of the city and the bay.

2. Iguaçu Falls
On the other hand, Iguaçu Falls, or Cataratas do Iguaçu in Portuguese is also a must see place. It´s a spectacular and enchanting natural wonder of the world. It´s located on the frontier between Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. There are 275 waterfalls and extraordinary cascades making an incredible noise and of course taking your breath away. Besides the waterfalls you can also explore the surrounding area, the national parks and enjoy your trip even more by taking a helicopter tour which can offer you a spectacular view of the nature.

3. Salvador
Salvador is located in the northeast, it´s also known as Salvador of Bahia, it has a mix of everything ranging from a rich historical heritage to a modern life. The city has been considered for many years as one of the most beautiful and one that also has the best resorts. I couldn´t forget to mention the street Carnival and of course the popular outdoor parties. Finally, in the “capital of joy” you can appreciate the beaches ideal for sailing, swimming or diving.

What do you think? Why don´t you start looking for an exchange program or just take advantage of the two international competitions for a total immersion in Brazilian culture?
