Two weeks after the results, it’s time to give you an update on how it all went.
Finally, the day you’ve been waiting for is here! The results of The Top 100 Language Lovers 2014 competition are in. Congratulations to all of you who took part in this competition. Also thank you very much for participating, nominating, cheering and voting for your favourite blogs, Facebook Pages, Twitter accounts and YouTube channels! We have received more than 20,000 votes and countless e-mails. Thank you, we were happy to see you be part of our competition this year.
Thank you for all the emails you sent and the comments you submitted to nominate your favorite blogs, Facebook pages, Twitter accounts and YouTube channels. From the great amount of nominations we received (1.276!!), we selected the Top 100 for each category. These have made it to the voting phase!
After the great success of the last five editions of our Top 100 Language Blogs competition (results for 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013), the bab.la language portal and the Lexiophiles language blog are announcing the start of this year’s contest with the passion for languages being the protagonist: the Top 100 Language Lovers 2014 competition.

Since we published the results of our competition June 12th, this is the perfect time to take stock of it.
