Dirigente, quadro, impiegato, operaio: come si traducono queste definizioni?

Tradurre il job title non è sempre semplice perché spesso sono definite da consuetudini o inquadramenti specifici alle leggi di un determinato paese. Nei paesi anglosassoni infatti non esistono leggi simili sulla dicitura di inquadramenti professionali. I quattro inquadramenti professionali vigenti in Italia (dirigente, quadro, impiegato, operaio) si riferiscono ai tipi di contratto nazionali italiani riconosciuti legalmente nel 1985. Essendo una legge italiana, non esiste una traduzione semplice e diretta all’estero e in altre lingue, ma vale la pena ricordare che si tratta appunto di inquadramenti professionali, non di mansioni o job title specifici. Nei paesi anglosassoni infatti non esistono leggi simili sugli inquadramenti professionali. Vediamo innanzitutto quali sono le funzioni svolte da queste figure professionali.
